Increasing Vertical Dimensions
This lady was referred because of her faulty upper and lower dentures. She refused implant treatment and wanted to have fixed rather than removable restorations. Following examination of the hapless lower teeth and initial periodontal treatment she was restored with upper and lower crown and bridgework.
This was all done at an increased vertical dimension of 6mm anteriorly to improve the facial profile and facial aesthetics.
