Full Dentures
This lady was referred for provision of new full dentures and treated with the BPS denture technique. This involves a closed mouth dual impression technique of upper and lower together with a Gothic Arch Tracing and training to gain the RAP before providing a coincident RCP = ICP occlusion and bilateral balance in lateral excursion. The technique is modified for greater accuracy by also using a facebow and lateral and profusive checkbites so as to mount the dentures in the semi adjustable or fully adjustable articulator.
