British Academy Of Restorative Dentistry | BARD

The course will comprise of lectures, practicals, seminars and webinars. This is a two year course spread over 22 days leading to a Post Graduate Diploma in Ortho / Restorative Dentistry from the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry (PG Dip Ortho/Rest Dent).

Year 1 (module 1) of this course is the Certificate in Restorative Dentistry (10 days)

BOTH courses (modules) must be completed in a 5 year period and you must complete 100 hours of Orthodontic and Restorative CPD including these modules during the 5 year period prior to taking the examination. Exemption from the Year 1 course (PG Cert Aesthetic Dent) is available to those who have completed a one year accredited private or hospital based Aesthetic Dentistry course.

The course is part theory part practical and will require treatment of patients in your own clinic with treatment planning for 4 live patients.
Succesful competion of the course will allow entrance to the examination for Diploma in Ortho/Restorative Dentistry. This will include case presentations and log diaries written MCQ examination. The cost of the course is £6,950 + VAT and the exam fee is £1,485 + VAT
